The week after spring break was full of parties and events for the students living in Lake and Olson halls. The events that week were: The Fancy 50th Kick off, Gilligan’s Treasure Hunt Island, Beach Boy Party, 50th Birthday Bash Lift Off and 60’s Sadie Hawkins Dance.

The Beach Boy Party, on Wednesday, March 30, let students come in from the snowy outdoors and enter a beach-like atmosphere. There were free hamburgers, hotdogs, cookies and potato salad for students. The lounge offered students the opportunity to make different colored sand art sculptures, hang out with friends and escape unpleasant Northeast Ohio weather. Beach balls and Frisbees sat outside on the floor for students to play with.
